Pretty much everyone I've talked to lately has been shocked that it's already September. Around here, there's been a transition to much cooler night temperatures, foggy mornings in the valley, and the subtle turn and fall of the leaves. There's a structure to September that the summer months just don't have. It feels like there's a collective sigh and return to work, to school, to beginning again.
