What a perfect little book for the times. Getting on with less for some time now, suddenly in California we have MORE than any of us need. Fires everywhere, smoke choking us out. My sister has evacuated and is at least safe and near me. We brace for more fire, smoke, evacuations, fear, lives and homes lost. Life as before seems beyond memory, but it will be back eventually.
