I've gotten to a place in several aspects of my life where I've found ease. It's like my body got tired of fighting itself and it found a natural, relaxed place to be. One part of this ease is in my sketchbook drawings. I've been capturing the spirit of my plants and bringing in some dream like elements in my latest drawings. They're part realistic, part made-up, and part pure feeling. I've been practicing over the last few years, finding the right materials, processes, and marks. I love that it's all come to these pages. I'm finally making the work that feels like me.
