Signs of Spring
So, it's that time of year again for two things that mean spring up here: road grading and the farmers' market! Although I was very happy to see the road graders, I was less excited to spend twenty minutes stuck behind the bulldozer, driving in a cloud of soft, rocky dirt. The roads are relatively smooth again, making travel faster and less treacherous than it was on winter's pothole ravaged roads.
I have a new sign for the market–or if you want to get specific, I have a sign! I was using a paper sign that I saved from a long-ago book arts show that wasn't meant to make it past the second market, yet I used it for an entire year. My new sign is made from durable kitchen-chair material that my mom gave me an entire roll of years ago. So, it's a suitably recycled/repurposed material for the farmers' market. I'm just happy to have a sign that I'm proud to hang.
